TSUNAMI
Circus Camp for Kids

From Tuesday JUNE 10 th through Friday JUNE 13 th (schedule TBA) at Mile High Middle School, something amazing will happen: over 60 local kids ages 6-13, many from the local Big Brothers Big Sisters program, will learn how to walk on stilts, make masks and costumes, mime and juggle. Are they running away to join the circus? No – they're attendintg Tsunami’s 3nd Annual Circus Camp For Kids!

A truly collaborative effort between the workshop leaders and Ginger Spaulding the coordinator is under way for the creation of a multi-media stage performance. Think moving blue scarves as the ocean, with a school of fish, ribbon dancers running and leaping, clowns and a few starfish on stilts floating above the whole thing. There’s going to be a lot of flowing blue fabric!

Circus Camp is an inspiring community event, with many parents volunteering their time and energy to make it extra special. We couldn’t do it with out the efforts of dedicated parents and volunteers.

Please take time to read all the information in the two registration pages. Please register early! It helps to know approximately how many children will be attending. It also eases the process of arrival on the first day.

This year the schedule is weird, but it’s the best we could do to enable all children to attend. Unfortunately the school schedules in Prescott are different by two weeks.

We hope you join us June 10 th, 3pm at Mile High Middle School!
