Prescott Downtown Mural Project

Local Bluegrass Bands Meet
at the Crossroads to Benefit
“Art For All!” Mural Project!

The Prescott Downtown Mural Project has begun painting Prescott’s newest mural, “Art For All!” and they kicked it off with a foot stomping jamboree! Hosted in the Crossroad Center at Prescott College (220 Grove Ave.) this event raised money for the mural and brought together a host of Prescott’s finest bluegrass musicians. No Small Mango headlined the event and performers included Michael Shay, Lamar Hill, Denis Garvey, Ivy Ross, Alexa MacDonald and Tom Agostino of Prescott’s Folk Sessions Live.

Prescott’s first community infused and democratically elected mural design “Art For All!” will be on display for public consumption. A sliding scale donation of $5 to $10 will be suggested and children are encouraged to attend for free. As always, the project is open to community input. The Prescott Downtown Mural Project (PDMP) is a public arts initiative developing educational programs and murals around downtown Prescott.
